Born Again - U Are a New Creation

1 Corinthians 10: Paul warns believers to learn from Israel’s past mistakes, resist temptation, and avoid anything that becomes an idol. He teaches that Christian freedom should be used wisely—do everything for the glory of God and consider how your choices affect others.

1 Corinthians 8: Christian freedom should always be guided by love, especially when our choices could cause another believer to stumble.
1 Corinthians 9: Paul teaches that although we may have certain rights and freedoms, we should willingly surrender them when necessary to advance the Gospel and reach others for Christ.

Paul addresses marriage, singleness, and sexual relationships, giving practical guidance for Christians in different life circumstances. Paul teaches that marriage is good, singleness can also be a gift, and believers should honor their commitments while seeking to live faithfully to God. The main message is to remain devoted to God in whatever situation you are in, rather than allowing your marital status or circumstances to distract you from serving Christ.

You are more than you can see, feel, or touch. Once you accept the Spirit of God, you are made completely different. 

Paul addresses conflict between believers and the importance of living in holiness. Paul challenges Christians to settle disputes among themselves rather than taking one another to secular courts, and he warns against sexual immorality because believers’ bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Christians belong to Christ, have been bought with a price, and should honor God with their bodies and their lives.

Paul addresses serious sexual immorality within the Corinthian church and Paul’s concern that the church was tolerating it rather than confronting it. Paul teaches that believers must lovingly hold fellow Christians accountable, remove unrepentant sinful behavior from the church, and pursue restoration rather than pride or acceptance of sin. The chapter emphasizes that Christians are called to maintain holiness within the church while leaving the final judgment of those outside the church to God.

Christian leaders should view themselves—not as celebrities or masters, but as servants of Christ and stewards of God’s truth. Paul warns against pride, division, and judging others prematurely, reminding believers that God alone ultimately judges a person’s faithfulness. He then challenges the Corinthians to imitate his humble, sacrificial example and live consistently with the gospel they profess.

Paul emphasizes that believers are God's building and should work together faithfully, because God will ultimately evaluate the quality and motives of each person's work, so there is no place for pride, jealousy, or competition among Christians. 

We are to live in harmony with each other as the body of Christ Jesus.
